Within the framework of the European Biotech Week 2020, EuropaBio (the European Association for Bioindustries) has launched the #BiotechFan Photo Contest, a competition aiming to engage with all European citizens, by raising awareness and making biotech accessible to local communities, and by showing concrete examples to explain how biotech surrounds and supports us in everyday life, also in light of the recent COVID-19 pandemic. Inaugurated in 2013, the European Biotech Week celebrates biotechnology: an innovative and vibrant sector launched by the discovery of the DNA molecule back in 1953, and this year EuropaBio has the pleasure to invite YOU to collaborate to the success of the European Biotech Week 2020 (September 28 - October 4)! The Call for Applications for Bioeconomy Youth Champions is out now! https://gbs2020.net/about/call-for-applications/   The International Advisory Council on Global Bioeconomy (IAC) is looking for young champions motivated to engage with the global bioeconomy youth during the virtual Global Bioeconomy Summit 2020, 16th – 20th November 2020. What’s the aim of the call? The objective of this call is to bring together an eclectic and geographically diverse leadership group of young people, from across the globe, who will act as ambassadors for the bioeconomy at GBS2020.
