This year’s Summit will be held in an innovative and interactive virtual format - with 12 workshops from the 16th to the 18th of November, culminating in the plenary session & debates on the 19th and 20th of November 2020.

 

The 3rd GBS will focus on innovation and a sustainable bioeconomy.
We invite you to learn the latest dynamics in global bioeconomy development and the bioeconomy’s role in addressing the global climate crisis, discovering bio innovations, markets and consumer approaches and to hear about political programs, capabilities and financial resources necessary to accelerate the pathways toward a sustainable bioeconomy.

We are delighted to share with you the preliminary program of GBS2020 and honored to welcome so many high-level speakers from around the world to the Summit.

 

This year’s Summit is the first which will be organized together with five official GBS2020 partners, representing the European Union, Japan, the ASEAN region, Eastern Africa, and Latin America and the Caribbean.
