"From bedside to bench and back: Pathways linking host-microbe interaction with intestinal inflammation and carcinogenesis.”
Alexander is a gastroenterologist who investigates how the intestinal tract is linked with the immune system. We has recently started a Christian-Doppler-Laboratory in order to study the human microbiome in this context, and in its relation with human disease. He aims at developing novel therapy, targeting the human microbiome. |
