About ÖGMBT YLSA:

ÖGMBT Young Life Scientists Austria was established in 2016 and is a network organized by and for young scientists (Masters, PhDs, Post-Docs) within the Austrian Association of Molecular Life Sciences and Biotechnology. The aim of YLSA is to form an Austrian wide network among young life scientists to address the particular needs of this group. Examples in this respect are career development options (“Shall I do a PhD or not?”, “I want to find a job in industry but how?”…), public relations activities (“why is public promotion of research important for the location Austria and young scientists?”, “what are the working conditions in academia and young scientists?”) and mentoring programs, but also off-topic events are organized.

As the topics covered of YLSA are based on the input of the peers (which means you!), we encourage everybody with a “hot topic” to just get in contact with us.
