Looking for a challenging and dynamic role in the flavor industry? We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Creation Lab Assistant to join our team. As a Lab Assistant, you will be responsible for preparing and compounding flavor samples, applying flavors and ingredients to product, managing tastings, and maintaining sample stock and lab equipment. You will also be responsible for ensuring good lab practices are followed, adhering to all safety rules, and participating in general HS&E duties. The ideal candidate preferably have had experience in a similar role, has strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Your key responsibilities

 

• Accurately & safely prepare and compound Flavor Samples & Food Applications, and ensure quality and on-time delivery

• Prepare Tasting Sessions including tasting sheets and documentation, could include sensory tests

• Controls and Maintains raw material stock, lab supplies, packaging materials, etc.

• Updating information in relevant project systems, and document control.

• Adheres to all GCPs and QSHE rules

• Confidently connecting to various divisions of dsm-firmenich and suppliers.

You bring

• Scientific background and / or work experience as Flavorist assistant  / compounder / application experience

• Ability to do basic application preparation (of all foods)

• Calculation and understanding of dosages and dilutions of flavors / ingredients

• Confident communicator – English a must (verbal and written)

• Great organizational skills

• Problem solver and Self starter

• Team Player

• Computer literate – MS office, SAP
