The Life Science Facility of IST Austria is set-up to provide the scientists with high quality services and infrastructure. Viral systems are commonly used for gene delivery and are used by an increasing number of scientists on campus. We are looking for a motivated person to build up services in the field of viral gene delivery.

Your responsibilities:

• Working closely with our scientists to aid in the experimental design of virus projects
• Production of DNA constructs for various viral gene delivery systems
• Production and purification of viral particles up to Bio Safety Level 2
• Management of consumables and archiving of DNA constructs
• Development, implementation and monitoring of required safety measures
• Quality management and thorough documentations of working procedures
