Ideenwettbewerb zum Internationalen Tag der Frauen und Mädchen in der Wissenschaft
Monday, 13 February 2023 09:40Die Förderung von Frauen und Mädchen in der Wissenschaft ist und bleibt ein wichtiges Thema: das hat uns in den letzten Jahren insbesondere die COVID-19 Pandemie gezeigt. Die zusätzlichen familiären Verpflichtungen, die u.a. durch die Lockdowns entstanden, wurden zu großen Teilen von Frauen getragen und haben damit die Produktivität und Arbeit von Wissenschaftlerinnen viel stärker beeinträchtigt (siehe z. B. Nature, März 2021; Andersen et al. eLife 9, 2020). Die letzten Jahre haben also zur Ungleichheit beigetragen, mit der weibliche Wissenschaftlerinnen täglich konfrontiert sind.

Tuesday, 25 October 2022 09:17"HGSC - Helicobacter genomics, signaling and carcinogenesis” conference from 02 to 05 December 2023 at the beautiful Castle Hirschberg in Beilngries (Bavaria, Germany).
The HGSC conference is a high profile meeting that brings together established researchers and young scientists to share their latest data and vision in the field of Helicobacter. Sessions are organized on the key disciplines of genomics, pathogen evolution, pathogen-host interactions, signal transduction, immuno-oncology as well as translational oncology led by leading scientists. The aim is to create an interactive and productive environment and relaxed atmosphere where you can present and discuss your data with colleagues and build new networks for your career.

FEBS-IUBMB-ENABLE 2022 Symposium – a PhD and Postdoc meeting
Wednesday, 25 August 2021 10:34FEBS-IUBMB-ENABLE are now looking for an academic institution (either a university or a research institution) in Europe with a strong research background in molecular life sciences and an active PhD community to host the November 2022 conference. This event will be organized by a committee of young researchers belonging to the four ENABLE institutions (core institutions, as listed above) plus the selected host institution (associated institution). It will be organized following the standards and structure of the previous ENABLE events, as set out in the Application Guidelines document. FEBS and IUBMB will fund the event up to a sum of €65,000.
