Welcome to our new deputy ambassador in Australia

FEMS would like to offer a warm welcome to Patrick Laffy, our new Deputy Ambassador in Australia. Please join us in celebrating Patrick's addition to the FEMS Ambassador team. As a Senior Research Scientist and Genomic Bioinformatician at the esteemed Australian Institute of Marine Science, Patrick brings expertise in microbial community analyses, gene expression comparisons, and the critical study of marine ecosystem shifts under climate change conditions.

We are grateful to have his passion and knowledge contribute to our network and strengthen our efforts in advancing microbiology.
