Purpose: Drive overall customer success aligned to the Cytiva strategy and goals leveraging all of the Cytiva account team. Owns the overall customer relationship across the account. Primary contact between the company and customers and grows the business through an understanding of the market, an awareness and familiarity with the needs of customer, and knowledge of the product portfolio. 

 Accountabilities: 

  • The Account Manager’s main objective will be to grow the overall portfolio sales in your territory within all customer segments as well as to grow the overall Cytiva portfolio for the accounts. 

  • Account Manager will own the customer relationship representing the entire Cytiva portfolio. Work cross-functionally across Cytiva Operating Companies to develop solutions and offerings to enable assigned customer’s success across their workflows. 

  • Builds a strategic plan in their assigned accounts to partner with Cytiva colleagues and distribution partners to develop and implement annual account plans to grow Cytiva business. 

  • Be accountable for timely and accurate forecasting of pipeline & sales using our CRM, including the design in module. Achieve the quarterly and yearly operating plan while driving customer satisfaction and customer retention. 

  • Take the lead on contract and pricing negotiation in addition to complex and strategic deal development at assigned accountsAssist in proposal preparation and presentation to customers.

  • Pro-actively search for new opportunities & follow up the ones being generated by our marketing team. Lead them to success directly or supporting other Cytiva teams.

  • Work closely with our customers R&D/technical departments with the help of our R&D/FAS/Product teams to bring the best solution & that accelerate our customers success

 Skills: 

  • Successful commercial experience within Life Sciences market. 

  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders & to work collaboratively across functions and geographies to drive execution.

  • Experience listening and working together with customers finding their pain points and providing solutions.

  • Good analytical skills as well as experience with sales tools such as Saleforce.com.

  • Self-motivated, team player, ability to work independently and well organized.

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Ability to coordinate, lead and influence internal and external teams.

 Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences field, ideally masters or PHD degree in biology, biochemistry, immunology, or molecular biology.

  • Experience with magnetic beads or Next Generation Sequencing would be very appreciated. Ability to quickly learn the entire Cytiva portfolio. 

  • 5 years commercial experience, preferably in the Life Sciences industry. 

 

Territory: Vienna, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Moldavia and Ukraine

Systems and Tools:  QlikSense or Sales Force 

 

The salary for this position in the primary location Austria is approx. €80.000 p.a. gross + attractive variable compensation scheme (full time). The actual salary depends on qualifications and work experience.
