Laboratory Technician - Analytical Service (m/f/d)

What You’ll Do

We are looking for a highly motivated person to become part of the ISO 17025 accredited Romer Labs Diagnostic GmbH / DSM and strengthen the team with expertise in Analytical Chemistry.

 

Your key responsibilities         

  • Perform routine analyses of mycotoxins in feed and food by chromatography according to international standards independently and report in time
  • Perform routine analyses of mycotoxins and allergens by ELISA according to international standards independently and report in time
  • Document all activities according to good documentation practice to comply to internal and ISO standards
  • Process inter-laboratory tests and participation in validations
  • Participate in the development of new and improvement of existing mycotoxin testing methods
  • Answer customer requests and give advice in selection of testing methods and interpretation of reports
  • Actively share ideas on possible process improvements

 

You bring

  • Scientific education (Bsc or equal) in analytical chemistry, food chemistry, chemistry or related field
  • Experience in working with chromatography and ELISA
  • Accurate, structured and independent working style with excellent documentation practice
  • Fluent in English and/or German
