Internship – DNA/RNA next generation sequencing (M/F/D) – 18 h/w

These are the tasks we trust in you:

As a member of the GutOmics-Team you will be responsible for the planning, conducting and documentation of your research activities.

Our Team focuses on the usage of next generation sequencing techniques. You will be tasked with isolating DNA or RNA in preparation for metagenomic or metatranscriptomic sequencing.

Your work will support several diverse research projects ranging from the development of new probiotic products to basic research of the animal gut microbiome
To be successful with us you bring the following skills:

Basic science qualification, for example from a technical school (like a HTL) or from finished or ongoing undergraduate studies

Preferably experiences in molecular biology; like DNA isolation, RNA isolation, PCR, qPCR,…

Basic experiences with lab work, aseptic techniques and culturing microorganisms

Good English skills and computer skills (MS Office)
