ÖGMBT Forschungspreise
Bitte beachten Sie die Einreichungsfrist für die ÖGMBT Forschungspreise 2010!!!!

1. Die ÖGMBT vergibt auch 2010 wieder zwei Förderungspreise – gestiftet von THP medical products und VWR International - an junge, in Österreich tätige WissenschafterInnen.

Die Forschungspreise bestehen aus einer Einladung zur ,,ÖGMBT Lecture" im Rahmen der ÖGMBT-Jahrestagung vom 27.-29. September in Wien und einer Zuwendung von je Euro 3.000

Achtung: Verlängerung der Einreichfrist:
Bewerbungen bitte bis spätestens 20. Mai 2010 an die Geschäftstselle der ÖGMBT senden;

5. FEBS Workshop organised by FEBS Education Committee for the participants of Gothenburg FEBS Congress:

1. “Research Education” Workshops (Monday, 28th June) .
The aim  is to inform and  discuss about the way research education is conducted at universities (Workshop 1), as well as at high schools (Workshop 2) -and to explore ways of bridging the two. Targeted audience: interested academicians, research associates, post-docs, PhD students, and also high school science teachers from all over Europe..

2. “Workshop on Practical Systems Biology” (Tuesday, 29th June)
This will be  an Introduction to “Mapping and Modelling of  Cellular Signal Transduction”, kindly organised by Prof. Stefan Hohmann and his team. Open to all participants of the FEBS Congress. Important note: Places being limited, registration (without fee) is necessary before May 31st and participants should bring their lap-tops with them.

6. 32nd Annual Meeting of the Austrian Society for Hygiene, Microbiology and Preventive Medicine (OEGHMP),
17 - 20 May 2010 in Vienna.
The new deadline for reduced registration fees is 30 April 2010. Pre-registration by fax and online via our conference website at www.oeghmp.at is still possible until 12 May 2010.
